Tritec 2000 DMA
Fluid Bath
DMA experiments are usually performed in air, or sometimes with a purge gas such as nitrogen.
The fluids bath allows the option of gathering mechanical properties of
materials while immersed in liquid. Additionally, the bath can
be utilised as an environmental chamber for humidity
studies.
NEW: In conjunction with the Triton Humidity Controller even more sophisticated humidity control options are now available.
Anodised aluminium and PyrexTM
liner pots are available and are selected dependant upon the
application.
Extremely low Temperatures are possible using the fluids bath. For example crash cooling down to -196°C is acheivable by immersion in liquid Nitrogen. The standard fluids bath can also operate up to 150°C.
The system is
specifically designed to provide excellent isothermal
control and also offers controlled ramps if
required.
The Standard Oven can be refitted in seconds
for normal operation with the air oven, without having to disconnect the bath device from the instrument. The system is capable of storing a variety of
Calibration and PID settings allowing the user to choose
optimised conditions for different fluids.
