Triton Technology Ltd.

PRESS RELEASE

Triton Technology Ltd is proud to announce the development of a new range of instruments to add to our selection of relaxation equipment. The DS6010 and DS6210 Dielectric Thermal Analysers (DETA) are new twists on established technology. They offer the ability to determine dielectric properties of materials whilst undergoing a temperature or variable humidity program. DETA is ideal for thin film, semisolid or liquid (a Cup Electrode is provided as standard) materials and is also developed for work with powders. The principal use is for looking at relaxation events such as Tg over a large frequency, temperature or relative humidity range.

The DS6010 DETA Complete is used for conventional DETA analysis. DS6210 DETA Complete with Humidity Control can be used for conventional analysis or for controlled humidity experiments.

PRESS RELEASE

Triton Technology enters distribution agreement with Rubotherm GmbH for the British Isles

Rubotherm GmbH products along with BEL Corporation of Japan and Costech dynamic surface area measurement instruments join the existing line up of Materials Characterisation technologies offered by Triton Technology Limited in the UK.

Triton Technology Limited has entered into a distribution agreement with Rubotherm GmbH. The agreement provides Triton Technology Limited with exclusive distribution of Rubotherm, BEL and Costech Dynamic Surface Area Measurement products throughout the British Isles.

Rubotherm was founded in 1990 with the objective of producing and selling a commercial Magnetic Suspension Balance system. The company has now produced and sold hundreds of systems worldwide.

The principle is to weigh materials with great precision in a sealed environment from the outside via a patented magnetic suspension mechanism. This allows instrumentation that can measure samples in highly pressurized, aggressive or benign conditions as dictated by the user.

The main areas of application are Sorption Measurements / material transport, Thermogravimetry / investigation of chemical reactions and Density Measurements / state quantities of fluids or density of porous materials.

To compliment these measurements Triton Technology Limited also offer BEL Corporation and Costech International S.p.A. Dynamic Surface Area Measurement products. These companies effectively extend the applications to cover both Static surface area and porosity and Dynamic surface area measurement of materials respectively.

These products compliment Triton’s own product line of Dynamic Mechanical Analysers and Humidity control and generation devices as well as the Shimadzu Thermal Analyser lines currently offered.
